Les Miles should have been fired last season, I cant argue with that statement anymore and I honestly thought just for recruiting purposes he should remain, my thoughts after Saturday have changed for good. All the hope I had for a great season at that moment was gone. This whole weekend I said LSU literally ruined my fall because as it looks my Saints arent looking too hot as well to say the least.

But, I will say a game by game approach looking at our schedule we "SHOULD" ne 7-1 going against Ole Miss and with a W in that game we stand 8-1 at home against Bama who knows what happens that game but of course the argument could be made that we should also be 1-0. Until we get that second loss I still have hope for this season. We came into this game too high. Maybe a loss this early changes the course!

or maybe it doesnt but as always TIME will tell

If you throw out the opinions about how bad LSU sucks and how we're going to go 6-6 and Miles will be fired mid-season, we're still pretty fine.

I mean, look at some of the teams ranked in and around the top 10... Georgia, Washington, Texas, Michigan State, Louisville... All of these teams are taking multiple losses.

Now sure, polls don't matter at this point. But to pretend that the season is over is clearly silly. I had a feeling when this poll came out it might calm some people down. If LSU wins the next two weeks, they'll probably be right around #15 heading into the Auburn game.

Our offense doesn't look improved. Yes, it's been one game, so you can't judge everything on that. However, it doesn't seem like it'll be much different. But we've won a lot of games at LSU with bad/mediocre offense and good/great defense. I still feel like we can do that.

I don't think it's unrealistic to say we'll be 6-2 heading into the Alabama game, still controlling our own destiny in the West.

Quick question. When is the last time we beat Auburn and Florida on the road in the same season?

Oh yeah and playing against Ole Miss? That ain't a guaranteed win baw

Agree, a 10-2 season is a strong possibility with the talent and depth this team possesses.

Look man, that'd be great to be 7-1. But to say we SHOULD be 7-1 after having to GO TO Florida and Auburn and win with this sh*tty offense at their place is asinine. We COULD win, sure. But Florida and Auburn will be up for the task after we beat them both last year and they'll be pissed and ready to play at their place and the gig is up, teams know how to shut this offense down. We will be lucky to have only 2 losses BEFORE ole miss.

If mediocrity or worse gives you hope, you're in luck this year.
