so tell me what's advantage of $1600 air springs vs $400 air bags?

We use them for work. We use two packages:
Laramie
Outdoorsman
Laramie has more bells and whistles, but the outdoorsman has remote start, bigger tires, and rubber floormats.
Both are great trucks. MPG is ok, maybe 16-18 on the highway. The suspension is really tight, so you will bounce around.

Air springs have much higher weight capacity since they are designed to be completely independent.
Air bags are intended to supplement steel springs.
At least that's what I'm assuming we're talking about.
