A couple things here:

First:

quote:

What is the point in these "Fire Miles" posts?

The point is that Miles was this close to being fired last year, but Tiger fans pulled together and saved his job. He told everyone that he'd open up the offense, including those who agreed not to can him, and he hasn't changed a thing.

It's still the same archaic offense we've been running for years. His stubbornness has got him in the fix he's currently in. He refuses to change.

Furthermore, he isn't coaching his players to the best of their ability. Harris could be a really good QB but Cam isn't teaching him, Miles isn't helping, what else can the kid do? No wonder he got so frustrated.

These kids can only play on instinct so much, the rest is up to the coaches to coach them up. Miles isn't doing that.

People feel betrayed and also are fed up with these empty promises. How many times has Miles said, "We just need to execute better." We're on year number what of that? As I said, same ole, same ole.

I don't hate Miles, I love the man, he's an absolute gem but on Saturdays, I'm out of patience.

Secondly:

quote:

support your team

I haven't seen anyone dump on any of the players for our performance. People are fed up with Miles having talent and I mean talent that other teams dream of having and scrapping and fighting to play in lesser bowls. But I digress, I haven't seen anyone rip the players.

quote:

enjoy the games.

People are fed up. Makes it hard to enjoy them when they all look the same. We're actually nervous about a rent a win game. How sad is that?

I'll always be grateful for Miles coming here and the national championship he coached the Tigers too, other great games too but the game has passed him by. Time for a change.
