I work for the state, hopefully there is some kind of law on the books for state employees. This fricking sucks if I can't get out of this… gonna be crashing into people at 10am. Hell I haven't gotten up before noon in years. 8 am is like the middle of the night for me.

Yeah...I'm not sure if there are any directives regarding government employees. I recommend that you talk to Personnel.

In Louisiana, 8 hour break in between shifts, I think. That is what it was for me. I couldn't work more then 16 hours at a time too!
