Well, mine was 4-5 years ago. The first 3-6 months were hell. I mean, it's still tough some days but overall it's the best scenario possible. Her parents were unbelievablely miserable too(my ex remarried & her parents werent invited!).
But, you get a chance to regain your identity. It's liberating. And if the single scene is tough, go the online route - dont knock it til you try it. Got some great stories/adventures from that..
