Nobody is making you buy it
They can ask what they want, and if it sells then the market tells them it was right
If it fails to sell, they were wrong and it'll sort itself out

Acting like building/development is capitalist is a fricking joke.
Zoning restrictions, an enormous lobby, and politics make it a lot like insider trading.

I don't hate capitalism. I just don't think it's sustainable or healthy for BR burbs to have the same COL as cities with much more opportunities.
I also don't think it's smart to spend 40% of your take home on buying and maintaining a vehicle but people do it.
