I don't agree that beating OU is easier than beating Bama. Look at OU's record against Bama. OU is 3-1-1 against Bama since 2002.

They are also virtually impossible to beat on their home field. It's even harder when you don't get the 4 and 5 star recruits.

Rick cannot help but argue with whatever is in front of him. Its 100% impossible for him to ignore someone.

Its a gift and a curse.

Stubborn.

All the way to 9-3 and another loss to Alabama.

No, but you argued with him. From my experience with him, he will probably admit that he was trolling.

Holy shite. Ok. I cant take you serious after this. Bama isnt any better than oklahoma? Why stop at Bama? We have other natiobal powers in the sec besides bama. Please tell me of these other national powers in the big 12.

There it is, right on schedule!

20-12 in the SEC since 2011 and 21-0.

Nobody (Except for the well known SP's and MA's on here) care any longer about the Les Miles tenure and overall career record.............

Damn, dude! That is harsh. This is a message board that is about sports. It's just a game, you need to get things in perspective.

Can't take me seriously? I'm not saying the big 12 is better than the SEC. Neither am I saying OU is better than Bama as a program. But seriously, we were talking about path to the playoff. TCU must win the conference to be considered. Not necessarily so in the SeC. Also, What other year-in-year out title contenders do we have besides Bama? Who? Florida? UT? Ole Miss? UGA? Come on.

"Better" and "harder to beat" are two different things in this case. TCU, with its lower ranked recruits, has a harder time beating OU than we have beating Bama with our recruits. Is this that hard to understand?

You said Bama isnt any better than oklahoma.

UT is not florida unless Texas has won 2 titles in the last 10 years
Auburn has 2 title appearances in the last 6 years. More than the entire big 12 combined.

Bama, Auburn and Florida are all as good as or better than every program in the big 12 with title appearances.
I apologize for the rhetoric bevause you clearly have knowledge but the big 12 doesnt have nearly the programs the sec does. I'm not even counting the UGA and Tenn.

This just isnt true anymore. Bama has seperated from lsu by a wide margin the last 4 years. There 2016 draft class was almost as big as our 2015&2016 draft classes combined.

These are the last 4 draft classes. As you can see the gap between lsu and ole miss is smaller than the gap between lsu and bama.

You are right that the big 12 doesn't have the stud teams the SEC does top to bottom. I wasn't arguing that. My argument is that TCU has at least as much of a mountain to climb to win that conference as we do in ours because they don't get the stud players we get. And OU is king of the big 12, and, like Bama and us, they DO get studs.

Tcu finished 4 spots beneath oklahoma in recruiting rankings last year. Lets not act like they are getting only 2&3 star recruits now.

That's a pretty damning indictment that that gap in recruiting is widening so fast.

When's the last time TCU got a Mayfield? OU recruits smart. Didn't know TCU had made that much improvement in recruiting lately though. Shows potential for what could Gary could do at a bigger caliber school.
