It really irritates the crap out of me when a mother acts like a child is a piece of property/or an object that they possess and the father isn't allowed to have/see it.

I get the parents not liking each other or getting along. But a woman using a kid as a bargaining tool is straight up shitty. It sucks for the kid and father. And half the time, the kid ends up resenting the mom because she kept them away from their Dad or made up stories about him.

(No I didn't experience it as a Dad. But I did as a kid.)
