re: Thoughts on Kanye West's McD poem?

The dude made good beats, I'll give him that, but I have never understood how people think his lyrics or rapping were worth a shite. There's a very low standard for what constitutes good lyrics in rap today. If you have a good beat and hook it seems like that's all that matters.

Just my "get off my lawn" opinion on contemporary hip hop.
