He also had a gem of a play that should have ended the game. He made a diving stop on the line on a screamer and quickly delivered a reasonable throw to 1B who missed the scoop and let it go by (subsequently threw out the runner headed to 2nd to end the game). Had there been a decent first baseman, he would have ended the game with a possible SC Top Ten play. He's coming into his own defensively for sure in addition to getting into a groove at the plate.

He still made the top 10 fwiw.
He made another big time play during the game. And they showed that play and got it hyped up and said it was the first baseman's fault. And they complimented the hell out of "Bergman" as they mispronounced it.
