I just bought this caliber and absolutely love it. Stacked a 10 group shot on a quarter at 100 yards. The ammo is around $30/box and is a killing machine.
If you want a common round then I'd say .270.
If recommend a Tikka or Savage rifle with a Vortex scope. Great set up that'll last a lifetime.
