I've seen the same estimate. Awful. I have family in BR and they were fine, which I'm thankful of. Glad you and yours made it through safely.

I ordered a buffalo shrimp poboy at the recommendations of several of you here, and it resulted in an argument with bartender over whether that was a "thing" or not. I was led to believe this was a semi-commonly ordered off-menu item, but the bartender went to lengths to ensure this wasnot the case, though they would still make it for me.

Most did not have flood insurance because they weren't in a flood zone. Many lost everything and they'll get about $30K max from the government. Sad.
