What affect does Muhammad Ali being a draft dodger have on his legacy?

I mean the guy claimed that he couldn't go to war because of his new religious beliefs when he converted to Islam . He couldn't fight because it was against Islam, now that's funny . Now what does it do to his legacy that he just chose a religion that nobody knew about to he could claim it was against it to go to war so he could coward in America?

What effect did eating paint chips as a child have on you? Besides the obvious.

Why is no one refuting my claim? You act like I'm wrong?

Why? What did I say that was wrong or offensive? I asked a legitamate question and have yet to get an answer only insults hurled at me like apes slinging poo

Trump was a draft dodger and he's running for president. I'd say it didn't affect his legacy too much.

no Viet Cong ever call him ******!!!

I have (had) a bigger problem with his stance against interracial marriage, tbh.

I couldn't care less about him skipping out on Vietnam. I wouldn't have gone either.

I never understood this. I could understand that may be how the average black man in America felt but Ali was able to make millions and have enough money for him and the next generation of his family to live on because of white people

Hmmm...
As far as Ali goes, he was a great boxer, not the greatest, but a great one. His decision to claim islam to avoid serving bothers me just like seeing Jane Fonda sitting on the tanks of enemy solders who want to kill the people that gave her fame and money.

Same effect it will have on Jane Fonda's for being a traitor when she goes to hell. Absolutely zero.
