Were you able to get to your house, ell?

Yes. I haven't been online since.
It was bad. 4 feet inside the house. With 5 days of water, we took out 8 feet of sheetrock.
The house is gutted. Got it done in two days. We are fortunate in many ways. My work has sent a crew every day and we've had about 30 friends and family there to help at various times. We also have power and the water didn't get to our meter or panel. We've changed out receptacles one room at a time which includes cutting back the wires first to remove any possible corrosion. So we have lots of fans and 4 dehumidifiers (thanks again to my work) in there drying out the wood overnight. Today we need to get the floors thoroughly cleaned and try to clear out the house completely in terms of the things we were able to save and box up. We are going with BoraCare with MoldCare for the wood, concrete and drywall once it's dry. Don't want to take a chance with any home remedy. That's a few days away though. Don't want to spray until we are certain it's dry. Sheetrock is purchased and will be stored until we can install in a few weeks. We think we have someone who can float and tape but it's not confirmed.
I'm worn out. I've never been this hurt physically or emotionally. But the help we've received has been overwhelming. I won't say it's unbelievable because we know some great people. I just know I'll never be able to repay them in any way.
And I really do appreciate your concern Russian. Hope you and your family are safe.
