I can confirm that backflowing has been hitting Coursey/Sherwood for about 2 hours now. It began late last night but has been rising at a slow but steady pace for two hours.

Very... there is a canal that runs from the back of the lakes under Highland down to Bayou Fountain (red arrow)

As high as Manchac is, I suspect Ward and Fountain are already backflowing.

Up about 4" in the past 30 min on a pole in the yard, don't know if that means much given the elevation change in the yard.
