Popeye's can't be that bad for you. Yeah, Pops Midnight (RIP) - he was a 4-piece white kind of fella when he was at peak weight of 270 in his late 30s to early 40s. He was a route salesman for decades and I guarantee you he ate Popeye's 3 or 4 times a week.

He made 73 and change, despite doing practically everything wrong, health-wise, including completely ignoring dental/oral health issues, eating WTF he wanted, even though he was a Type II diabetic from about 40 on, smoked until he got cancer (age ~50), and didn't exercise a single fricking minute after he got out of the Air Force at age 21.

Okay, so maybe Popeye's isn't good for you, but it can't be that bad for you.
