re: Opinions on storing boats in Venice or in storage in town

I haven't done it, but my buddy and his dad were keeping their Nautic Star in Hackberry at an enclosed storage facility the last few years. They gave up the spot because it was too expensive for them (and that's saying something ). They make about 4-6 trips a year, and decided it was better just to trailer the boat back and fourth.

In other words, it'd be worth it if you went to Venice a couple times a month. Anything less, and your paying prime location prices for simple boat storage you could get anywhere else.
