We can also absolutely beat the Raiders at home and giants away, especially early when it'll be warm in New York.
Panthers and Seahawks both at home we can win one of those 2. We almost won both games against the Panthers last year and I think they regress.
We can definitely beat the Broncos at home, they don't even have a QB. Rams at home is the same thing, no QB or established receivers. I know they have a vaunted D but they're secondary was shredded more than a couple times last year.
At Bucs could also easily be a win, they could be just plain terrible.
So just like that we're 12-4. Do we win all those games? Probably not. But individually all of those games I mentioned are definitely winnable. We finished very high in total offense last year with worse weapons. If we cut down on turnovers and have red zone efficiency we'll be a top scoring offense. And the defense can literally only get better.
6-10? Certainly possible. But far from a certainty

The schedule is reason enough not to bet on the Saints. They might be better this year but they're not going to be a 7+ win team, IMO.

Strength of schedule is always pointless to look at. Yea, the schedule looks tough, but I have no doubt some teams we think will be good, won't be. This happens every year.

but I don't believe they will be any better than last year, which is why I said they won't win 8. If you want to make the argument for 7-9, I'm not going to split hairs. I also wouldn't put money on it.

No, I'm pretty sure I stated they'd win 6 games pretty consistently in this thread.

Exactly. SoS from LAST year means jack shite this year. Every year you have a few teams rise and a few fall, with many winning or losing 1-3 more or less.
Most pointless piece of shite "stat" there is.

If we knew each other, I'd take your money all day. You going to give me some points for good measure because Rams are obviously a dog, right?

Nope.
cause its August and that game is in November so the way I see it is that there are plenty of unknowns on both sides.
Don't retreat off of your original prediction if you are so sure.
you seem like a sharp fellow, I'm just a guy throwing around money cause I'm a degenerate gambler.

well, I'm headed to the Beaux Rivage here in about an hour. Lets meet up then.
so by all means take my money. I worked for it so nobody gets to tell me how to spend it.

You can't go into the season with your biggest offensive threats being Cooks, Snead, a Colt TE castoff, Mark Ingram and a Rookie WR with a defense that turrible and tell me they win
Funny, we went into 2009 with Meachem, Colston, a Giants TE castoff, Mike Bell and a defense full of unproven players and cast offs
