Not in o&g but my brother in law worked about 4-5 months in Kano. He said it was one of the worst places he's worked and he does a lot of work in true shite holes in Central Asia.

I'll stay away from there. I'd actually be in Lagos which isn't as much of a muslim area (apparently it's a north/south thing there)
