We now know why.

Sean Payton trying to do what Nick Saban does

I bet in 2013 defense ate spicy chicken then in 2014-Present we switched to mild.

Defense sucked!

Offense couldn't carry the load as in previous years.

Like the Obama economy, weak defense and low GDP.

I thought this was going to say that we threw all of Browner's shite in the trash when he had the interview where he said that he wanted to go back to Seattle before last season.

Robert Kraft,John Mara, and the Rooneys run the NFL. The minute after the Saints won their Super Bowl, these fine gentlemen orchestrated a deconstruction of a small market team from notoriety. For them, it makes more financial sense for the bigger market teams to get the press and playoff appearances. The Saints were a very good small market team and a perfect scapegoat to mitigate concussion lawsuits.

The Saints are currently not good enough on defense to overcome the NFL shenanigans. Our Super Bowl team was able to overcome any adversity the NFL could present because it was that good. That 2009 team could convert on 1st, 2nd, or third and forever. The defense would simply take the ball away from opponents, even when the officiating was helping the other teams' offense.

Hmmm... Maybe I missed it. Where in the article does Payton say we are bigger and meaner on the DL and OL?

It took you all of 12 minutes to find me and respond. I am so privileged.

Try flying this into Atlanta's new stadium opening, since you live there.

No you aren't. I stumbled on this because I like interacting with intelligent Saints fans from time to time.

Your ATL dig is worthless. I'm an NFL fan but don't care about the Falcons much one way or the other.

When you say your an NFL fan, you make my point. You have an NFL agenda. I am a Saints fan. I could care less about the NFL as a whole. Your posting history is an indicator of where your real interest are. Now, fly back to the other rooms where you been posting.

Then why do you reject accountability when it comes to the lackluster effort given by the front office. If you're a professional sports fan, then you must realize what the "game" is about: money. If the leaders of the org continue down this dreadful path of complacent business tactics, it's up to us to react. I call on Saints fans to boycott the games if we suck. It's better to suffocate the honeyhole than keep feeding our earnings into a pit of despair.

How so? I think Goodell is a worthless POS. I hate the Pats and the Steelers. When I say I am an NFL fan, I mean I enjoy the games. If I had to pick a team, I'd probably go with the Jags. But I suppose they are just another big market team right?

I wish there was an NFL rant like the SEC rant. I post here from time to time to talk NFL.

Most Saints fans are pretty fun to talk to. A small minority are just bitter and paranoid. I wish I could change my username to avoid inciting the latter.

Fair enough.

Your premise does sound paranoid though. The NFL battle with the Pats when Kraft is one of 3 in control of the league?

You do understand that Brady played anyway, and won a Super Bowl. It all has been theater to feign fair play.
