Never done a PS4 specifically, but the drive will probably have some spring loaded screws that act as suspension. Tighten those all the way down while counting the number of revolutions it takes to snug them up before removing them. That way, you can adjust the new drive to those settings.

Already removed the old drive and it was pretty straightforward, no screws like you describe but that may be bc I'm not doing anything internally with the drive.

It's very similar to replacing the CD drive in a computer, old out new in. Swap over the boards then reconnect ribbons

That said this will probably end in disaster for me and instead of saving me $60 will cost me $180
