George, this period of time is the cusp of change from hard rock to grunge. Some liked it, some did not. I did not. I hated that Nirvana shite for a long time, and frankly don't think I ever warmed up to their depressed self-absorbed flannel shirt wearing style.

Consider me as one of the many who became disenfranchised with rock music at that juncture, and just skipped over to the late 90s feel good bullshite and went on from there.

I appreciated Nirvana but LOVED Pearl Jam, RHCP, and Stone Temple Pilots more

I was a little young for GnR but did slow dance w my girl to November Rain at the 6th grade dance.
