I'll defer to whatever the league decides. But, I don't think the draft held over 5 months back should be the deciding factor in the winter supplemental.

I like the idea of moving up still. I just lost one of Europe's most creative midfielders over the past few seasons, and it would suck to just be out one of my top two picks for almost half a season. Bleed almost lost Diego Costa. Would suck if he didn't have a chance to replace Costa if he left.

Obviously I benefit in this instance, so I don't think my vote should really count. I can see GC's frustration, though. Maybe we should make it to where you only get to move up if the player is picked in the first 2 or 3 rounds or something?

I think the literal interpretation would say that you only get compensated for a top five round pick.

However, the change to the pick compensation rules occurred during an active season (after the draft begun I believe). With that in mind, I think both Jackwoods and the Mick should move up. In future seasons, you would only get compensated for losing a top five round pick.

Since GC would be most penalized by this ruling, do you think that you should pick first, second (Jackwoods first), or third (Jackwoods and the Mick first and second)?
