I've done the same. Thought of donating my body to science.
They could study the effects of a lot of shite.
I am an organ donor, except I don't want to donate my eyes. But most of my organs are probably shite anyway.
I do have a kidney, lung, and part of my liver for sale tho.

This is the absolute one thing I don't want happening to my body. When you donate your body to science 80% of the time you wind up as a med student's gross anatomy cadaver. No way am I going to float in formaldehyde, branded with some cheesy nickname, and poked and prodded by a 1st year med student.
Nope. Not me. Other than that, what ever is cheapest and easiest.
