You may want to smoke pot for a couple of years before venturing into the hash world.

Assuming OP is serious, which I have no reason to doubt, I suggest due diligence if you want to start a serious spiritual journey. If you want a true window to the soul, Mother Nature has much better offerings than pot and hash (but by no means shortcuts).

Rastas read the bible yet Galations completely negates their religion. Same with Mormons. Don't understand it.

To be fair to the Rastas and Mormons, Galations is there to test their faith, like fossils.

I know little on Rastafarianism, but it does strike me as a religion... whereas OP seems to be ISO something "spiritual" in nature. No need to debate the distinctions, which are largely subjective, so I'll just throw out my personal interpretation of spirituality, particularly in context of plant medicine.

Spiritual journeys in "modern" plant medicine seem beyond (ie, outside) the scope of religion. Still, the benefits and knowledge undoubtedly affect - even enhance - your intentions and ambitions, including those religious in nature. If this distinction makes any sense to OP or others, then the options for spiritual journey are wide open.

This is a good place to start. Gives you a good history of the religion and some insight into their traditions and customs.
