I can be around my mom for a couple hours at a time but she is a closet racist who constantly bitches about anything and everything in the news despite "not watching it". I swear she loves to be in bad moods and I have no idea how my dad does it, i'd have imagined they would have been divorced ages ago because they are just not good together.

My dad is probably the most laid back guy I know, he really does not care about much. When I got arrested, I thought my mom was gonna take my head off and I didn't even want to face my dad, but all he did was look at me and go, "Don't do that again" and that was it. He has no interest in meeting my gfs unless my mom makes him. We can talk about paranormal stuff, aliens and fantasy football, those are like his 3 biggest hobbies. Outside of that, it's "hey, how ya doing? good" and that's it.
