he already ran an electronic 4.49 at 258 last year
This is probably not true. As they say, Follow the money. And the money for The Opening is in eye-popping times that get everyone talking about The Opening. The odds are that they fake it by calibrating it to be fast. Probably everyone at that event is 2/10 of a second slower than reported.
Here's a good test for anyone interested enough - compare this year's Combine tests with The Opening results from four years ago (if it was a thing then).
As usual, Rickdaddy has the best perspective. The kids at The Opening this year, after 3 or 4 years in serious college S&C programs, will have slower Combine times. Hmmmm?

Well White does have track times that are identical to OBJr. So while he probably wont run a a 4.4 at the combine he is legit fast. I was skeptical of his opening times as well but his track times are legit. If he didnt have those track times to back it up then yeah.

This wasn't really debated. The fact is White has a 4.49 on record that was laser timed. No one can really refute that. Not to mention the kid has track times out there that pretty much back up that he's a damn freak of nature.
