Looking for dirt and someone to do dirt work

I have a project in the Baton Rouge area I'm looking at doing where I need to haul in dirt and raise an area and level it with the existing lot. Probably about 175' length and at a minimum 25' width and then with a grade down about a 6'-8' drop?
Does anyone have someone in the area they would suggest as well as any idea about what something like that would cost?

He has done dirt work for me in the past, I thought he was fair and did good work. Not sure about current pricing.

call some of the local pool companies. They are always looking for places to bring dirt -FREE

Good idea, unless you want to grow healthy grass on it.
Only weeds can survive in our concrete-like clay.

That would probably work for the base layers since I'll have to bring it up from about 6'-8'.
