Pickerel is tasty... cdns genreally call it pickerel and muricans call it walleye. It's as tasty as it gets w FW fish. And up there we scamp triple tail small rs in my books.

I've eaten Walleye my whole life, very good, hearty, fresh tasting fish. Best fried fish you can eat.
Also to all the people thinking you have to go way up north to find them, you don't. My family has killed more than I can count spearfishing in Lake Ouchita for the last 30+ yrs. They were all in less than 20ft of water also.
Any deep mountain lake in Arkansas will have tons of Walleye.
