Said it was easier for him to throw the sinker in the middle of the plate and have it break to different edges of the zone than to try to place his fastball at the corners. I didn't get to watch last night's game to see if he took this approach again, but whatever he did obviously worked. Maybe he figured something out. He has TOR stuff for sure.

I don't know the total of sinkers last night but he was breaking ball heavy all night and at least late in the game it was mostly 4 seamers when he went fastball. Didn't see the change as much which is a devasting pitch. He used it to wipe out petit on a 3-2 count.
