LMJ has better numbers than sale. If Lance improves fastball control he is a bonified ace. He needs to consistently get deeper into games like last night.his stuff is top flight.

Agree completely about McCullers. He's still so young and will continue to develop also. Keuchel has pretty quietly been pitching well recently. McCullers/Quintana/Keuchel doesn't look sexy to a lot of people as a top of the rotation but I think it's plenty good once you add Bregman and Gurriel to this lineup. Add in Fister as your fourth guy who has been great for us this year and I am fine rolling into the playoffs with that

Said after his start vs Seattle (5.1 ip, 1 ER, 8 ks) that he used his sinker more. Said it was easier for him to throw the sinker in the middle of the plate and have it break to different edges of the zone than to try to place his fastball at the corners. I didn't get to watch last night's game to see if he took this approach again, but whatever he did obviously worked. Maybe he figured something out. He has TOR stuff for sure.
