EASHL is where you create a team and you control one player on the ice. The rest of your team is filled out with either real players (your friends) or computer players and you play "online seasons" or just regular "drop-in" games together as a club. You progress through divisions the more you win, etc.
You can control the match making process to where you match up with other teams that have the same amount of real players, or if you have a real player controlling the goalie you can match up with another team that has a real player goalie.
You create the appearance of your player to start, then before he game you select a player mold based off what position you want to play (forward, defense, goalie).
Not a perfect explanation, but hopefully helpful.
