Baseball's TV ratings problems have nothing to do with the length of the games. A lot of people don't tune in due to the repetitiveness and monotony of the sport, the sheer number of televised games and the explosion of entertainment options in recent years. It's puzzling why MLB believes making baseball a faster-paced sport would suddenly get people to tune in and watch. It won't.
