It's not an uncommon thought from 18-25 year olds right now.

Maybe not skipping out on making any kind of living.

But I know a young musician that was taking guitar lessons from me. He said he had enough music for an album but was struggling to get money to it recorded.

I tried telling him to give vocal lessons or work at a music shop for a little while or do something. Anything in his spare time.

But no. He was going to try Kickstarter and Go Fund Me again even though both had failed to get him any money for his album.

19 years old with the summer off, and he was too busy playing guitar and singing and bumming it to make $200-$300 to cut an album in some shite studio.

Went to eat and brought my two year old.

Her: I have bite? Chicken nuggets?

Me: sure, WHEN YOU GET A JOB!!!

Then I ordered me some chicken nuggets and ate them in front of her. Damn free loading babies.
