yes and I want to add that he was must-see TV. I was so excited to watch him pitch in the WS and playoffs.

He was like watching Barry Bonds. I had to watch.

no one else close, and I was a Carlton fan after being pissed that the Phils traded Rick Wise for him. Rick Wise had just pitched a no hitter.
I enjoyed watching Carlton pitch.
I loved watching Pedro.

2nd greatest strikeout pitcher behind Randy Johnson. I'll give him that.

Was that the year he started the all-star game and struck out the first six batters he faced?
