I agree their biscuits are a little doughy.
But the chicken minis on the little rolls are manna from heaven.
Jack's has the best FF biscuits and it's really not even close.
But I tend to like to get mine from a country store down the road as long as it's early. Made fresh right there on the griddle, and not some place with frozen biscuits they nuke and then put under heat lamps next to the pizza kiosk that could double as a rack at the sunglass hut.
I went in there the other evening around 6pm thou and they still had two sausage biscuits left from breakfast marked down to $.99.
I wouldn't have even gotten those for my old dog. Even she got a fresh biscuit when we would go to the store.
Oh the Shell gas stations here have a kitchen and they serve some BEC biscuits that take both hands to hold.
Breakfast is without a doubt my favorite meal of the day and I would give 5 years off my life to have my Mamaw's buttermilk biscuits, fresh eggs straight from the henhouse, and half a pound of bacon just once more.
I'd give another 5 years if I could have supper cooked by my other grandma, veggies from the garden, some fried squash, black eye purple hull peas, fresh tomatoes, new potatoes boiled with the skin still on or cream corn, cornbread muffins and maybe a fried pork chop.
Us country folks were doing this whole farm to table shite 40+ years ago before it was "cool".

I liked the spicy chicken biscuit, but I feel like I didn't order it all that often. However, the new addition looks good as frick
