I'm picturing a Raid or Dredd style movie taking place in Arkham. Batman gets locked in for the night and has to fight his way through. We did see something like this in a video game, but I still think it could be cool and different from any Batman movie we've seen before.

That was my first thought as well. Which simultaneously increased and decreased my interest in the idea.

Would be awesome.
But Batman is a studio's gold mine. And studios like formulas, and the Batman formula will call for a love interest.
