Just re-read the census to make sure I was correct. I misspoke but here are the numbers from 2010.
Homeowners with a gun are 80% more likely to KILL themselves with the gun than they are to kill someone else with it. (Suicide rise in America)
Ronald Reagan wanted stricter gun laws on assault rifles. Look it up if you don't believe me.

The DOJ ready did a study showing 2.5 million defensive uses. Most defensive gun use doesn't involve killing the assailant. DR keck had some thing except his numbers came out to 4 million.

funny how these studies include suicides to get the result they are looking for. Let me guess you are reading medical journals like BamaATL?
