I and my younger brother played for the Garafola family in the early mid 80's on the Bengals. A family dedicated to public service did not deserve such a tragedy. With all of the pomp and circumstance in the prior week mourning the death of a two-time felon, I hope there is far more for Deputy Garafola and Officers Gerald and Jackson - true heroes - men who dedicated their lives, literally, to protecting us
