My take is this is not unusal. Miles is a poriminent Alumni and liked by many at Michigan. Thus a call to make up and clear any misunderstanding that occured this unpleasant business should be expected.
I fully expect Miles to be the LSU head coach when he makes his National Miles mania kickoff tour on Letterman or Leno after we win the NC game

Well, somebody is lying or somebody doesn't know what they're talking about..
Belowpar says they haven't been in contact with him but the paper says they have.
So, either he is lying, doesn't know what he is talking about...........or
The people who told that writer that are lying and don't know what they are talking about.

Yeah. The Newspapers could be getting wrong info. However I think it would be natural for the Michigan Powers that be to smooth out any rough feeling with Miles. Especially since it is not clear where ESPN source came from.

Who knows....belowpar hasn't addressed this thread and the other thread about MGOBLOG. I'd figured if they hadn't contacted Les, he'd come out and say so.

Don't get me wrong, its possible...I don't know everything in the world...I'm not Coach Miles...

Something has to be up with all of this media business.
Skip was pretty tough if you read his quotes and it was obvious he had no idea (at least that he was going to admit) that Miles spoke to anyone at Michigan.
I would assume there has to be something going on over at Nicholson Dr to get this stopped.

I figured that'd be your response. I'm not hating, I love ya like a brother, but I don't expect you to tell us the truth on this relatively sensitive matter. It's not a matter of national security but I'd figure you wouldn't break that news on here considering how many media folks read this board.
So, I'm not gonna really press you on the matter because you may be in a position where you may have been instructed not to confirm this or you don't feel comfortable doing so.
I don't know what exactly your job is, but I'd probably do the same thing if I were you.

I think its apparent Miles is staying. His comments on the matter taken as a whole pretty well close the matter. Again I dont think it is shocking that he would talk to the Michigan folks because of all the rumors and possible feelings. Epsecially with Miles friends raising holy hell up there

I think it will help if he wins the Natl Champ...I really don't think Michigan could come close to his deal then.
