I use mine quite a bit and they only cost about twenty bucks. Snap end off and toss in dishwasher. Easier to clean then the blender.
I clean fish with my electric knives. It works well on slicing brisket if you really want it pretty but I normally cook my brisket to shred for tacos so doesn't really work for me. I know a lot of people use it to carve turkeys but I have a asian slicing knife for that.
