DUde the proof is what happened in the Texas Tech game. GO back and watch it. He was the sidelines and when Harris got rattled he settled him down. He made a big difference being there for Harris.

I guess the fact that Texas Tech at the 127th ranked defense out of 128 had nothing to do with that.

There's no right or wrong way to do it. Every team and coaching staff has different needs and ways of learning.
If it gets Harris to play better, hell get Cameron a hammock and let him sleep on the sideline.

I prefer sidelines better.
Especially at this level.
Texas Tech game we didn't have the typical confusion and delay getting the right play in..
Also, the OC who is the QB coach can be more hands on with the quarterback and just a better instructor this way.
I also like OC's who are on the field because they seem to have a better feel for the play calling.. this is just an opinion though.
