Can we please stop thinking "the media" is some uber liberal entity that is conspiring against the white man? Or whatever the frick the paranoia about the media is about? It's shocking how ignorant a lot of people are about journalism.

Let me see if I follow your logic. This report has been around since day one and no Baton Rouge "journalist" thought to investigate a few of The Departed's convictions. Now you're trying to spin doctor some bullshite post to defend incompetent children in reporter costumes? Is that correct?

Of course it is not an entity, but with few exceptions "the media" is indeed uber liberal and the coverage or lack of coverage is slanted without a doubt. There is bias, no doubt.

The media is big business! It behooves them to keep things stirred up so people watch and they get ad revenues.
NBC has news from 2:30 AM until 11:00 AM. Then from 5 PM thru 7 PM. And again from 10 PM thru 11:30 PM.
This is a money-based society.
