Not claiming inside info but I think the Bama board post is spot on and applies equally to LSU. I think Wilson is very interested in the Tide and in us. I think him going to a respected private school in Houston (as opposed to a more rural large public school) is helpful (and why we recruit Houston so well). But there are still lots of local influences (*)that push maroon and burnt orange. I trust EdO. If he cannot convince Wilson to come, it's just not meant to be.

(*) To be clear, I am talking about legitimate home state influences. I have not heard anything nefarious (and again, my only inside info is that I have friends with kids at Episcopal High and am friends with some faculty)
