Is Kabobs in Baton Rouge done?

Friend said they've been shut down since Memorial Day weekend with some handwritten note about personal family matters in the window. It's been 7 weeks, apparently. I thought it was good the few times I ate there.

Even in one of BR's biggest neighborhoods no restaurant has survived in that location.

It is a horrible spot. You take your life in your own hands when you turn in and out of that location.

I have actually inquired about buying the place. I am thinking about turning it into a Daiquiri Shop. Great location, and great place to stop on the way home from work, or on the way out.

I've had many good meals at many good restaurants in that location over the years. Nothing ever sticks. Daiquiri shop not a bad idea...can't do any worse than any of the other places that have set up shop there.

People with a good ole Attitude Adjustment in their system turning left onto George O'Neal across the 4th turn at Indy. What could possibly go wrong?
