getting to cutoff lagoon from stump lagoon?

I was reading on how to access the interior of biloxi marsh and from looking at the map it seems that running from the MRGO would be the easiest. I also found an article that seems to have the same thought: LINK
So my question is -- it looks like you could launch from breton sound marina, go right across the mrgo into a long water way that would run you right next to stump lagoon. Is this the case? Is it okay to travel through that waterway in that direction?
And then once you get into stump lagoon and then went to travel through muscle bay to cutoff lagoon --- is that something a person who has never been through there will find difficult? I will have GPS but I am not sure if there will be a bunch of other boats trying the same thing or if the route is difficult due to debris or anything else.

The long waterway you're referring to is Loutre. You're good. Just hung the outside of turns in stump/cutoff/all the bayous north of there.

lafishblog is your resource for that area.
IMO, Cutoff is a hell of a run for your first time. You pass a lot of prime redfishing to get there. Someone correct me if Im wrong but this time of the year, Id be hitting rigs/MRGO in open water then skirting Stump and close in marsh for reds on the way back.

This is an easy run. Follow La Loutre, you will veer right. The entrance to Stump Lagoon is the first cut on the left; there are some pilings right there. When you get into Muscle, will see a rig near the northwest corner. There is a pipeline there marked with signs. This brings you into Pete's Lagoon. There are several ways to Cutoff using pipeline canals. There is a sunken barge in there that produces fish. Your action now will be mostly reds and small specks. Good luck.

By the way, once you get off the main waterway you need to be careful of water depth. Someone on here might be able to enlighten you further on the wind directions to watch for, but if the wind blows the wrong direction for a day or two, stump lagoon can be <1' deep in the middle. I've run aground there before. Never hit a stump yet but I'm sure it wasn't named stump lagoon if there aren't some underwater obstacles. This isn't an undue risk IMO since anywhere you fish for reds there's a chance of shallow water, but just be careful and good luck with the fishing!
