That's fair. Tyrion Lannister once said "never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Clothe yourself in it, armor yourself with it, and it can never be used to hurt you again." People can only hurt you if you let them. You must have shame to be shamed.

Such a great show and truly wise words. Names only hurt if you feel shame, it's kinda like calling a skinny person fat, it just doesn't hurt if you know it's not true.

It also doesn't hurt if you know it is and take pride in that fact.

If someone calls me a "you short ugly jewboy f$&k!"

That doesn't hurt me at all. I am short, I know I'm not good looking, I am a Jewish male, and I do enjoy f$&king. No reason to be offended. Admitting you are offended by someone's words or actions is admitting that you are giving them power over you. This entire "triggered" culture is basically broadcasting the message of "we're so completely inferior and weak that you have to coddle us just so we don't die!!!"

My response to that is if my "micro aggressions" and privilege are simply so impactful on you so as to ruin your day, then you deserve to be harmed by them. You are simply too weak to be saved. If it's not, then it's too worthless to get riled up over. I think we all know the real reason is it's all a massive lie. They're not really offended or angry at all. They're just using these emotional appeals to get people to cave into their demands and give them what they want: attention and power. They use this way because it's easy and they lack the strength or wherewithal to get it any other way. I mean, why worry about debating an opinion you disagree with when you can just claim it offends you and silence it without having to refute it with facts?

I've known this for a long time.

It's why being called a racist by leftist is such a joke to me.

And Coonass doesn't bother me at all either.

If you call someone a name and they get really upset about it, it usually means you hit the nail on the head and they know it. The truth hurts.
