I don't know if that's always true. Both local Gamestops only received enough copies of Dragonball Xenoverse to cover pre-orders and nothing more. Got lucky with 1 out of 3 Wal Mart stores having it in stock. The other two hadn't even put it on display yet.
My Gamestop also seems to hate the Wii U. I never see new Wii U titles for sale or behind the counter like you see PS4 and Xbox One.

That's because they don't sell as much, less consumers less stock.
