In my humble opinion, its two basic fundamental elements.
Respect and accountability. And neither of those are racist terms. Its truth, and it applies to humans, not races.
If people respected themselves, and life, and others, it would go a long way.
If all parents held kids accountable for things in certain areas (white and black neighbhorhoods), they would learn that there are consquences, and that you should respect yourself before making foolish decisions.
But it seems those are lost, and often times, its because there is a lack of a male role model to enforce these basic fundamentals. Mothers love and nurture and are required in raising a child. But a fathers fear is what shapes a behavior, and is needed.
Again, just my humble opinion, and I'm sure I triggered someone, and thats OK.
