ETA: It's like saying Forrest Griffin weighs 205. He was notorious for cutting a shitload of weight for weigh-ins and walking into the cage around 240. GSP had the same reputation. MMA fighters are only at their listed weights for a couple of hours.

It does. There is a reason they cut weight before a fight. If he needs to be at 169.9 for a weigh in, he could potentially weigh 180 or more 24 hours later for the fight. One reason Conor was outmatched last fight, IMO. He had to gain for the weigh in while Nate had to cut. I bet there was a 20-25 pound difference, if not more, the night of that fight.
